Some websites recommend a pair of load resistors for LED turn signal lights. Will it work or burn out faster if I don't get load resistors?

There might not be enough current to make the flasher work. Burnout has nothing to do with it.

They make electronic flashers now. You can get them at almost any autoparts store. I had the same problem when I upraded some lights on my motorcycle. Installed the elec. flasher. problem fixed. there are basically 2 types of flashers. 2 pin, and 3 pin. the 3 pin is basically the same as the 2 pin, but with a deticated ground. Look at the elec. schematic on the package for which one it is if your installing a 3 pin onto a 2 pin. The old ford headlight connector replacement pigtail works perfect for replaceing the old 2 pin connector.
