DON'T TREAD ON ME ... LoozNit...

This is a post I read from Jersey Jim' s thread. I went to the website and read what they had to say. This was my email to the director of this group. [email protected]:

Go feed the homeless. There's bigger things to worry about then Hunting. The first settlers survived by hunting. All our ancestors helped us by hunting , so we could eat to ensure our survival. I feed my family by the game I shoot legally. Jesus ate meat. Go help the little children who are being beaten by ******* parents. Help all the children in foster homes. SO many more things to fight for that have more meaning then Sunday hunting. I have the right to bare arms. I have the right to go out and shoot a animal I intend to eat. You also have that right to protest. But as I said when you put a animal before all the starving children in this world. Or all the unnecessary wars in this world. so many Innocent people dying foolishly in this world. And all you people want to do is protect a animal. Where in gods eyes are your morals . I would rather see I million animals get killed for food knowing it is filling the bellies of hungry people that need it to survive. Anthony

This was his reply:
Dear Anthony,

I know that my exposing the brutality of hunting has caused you great pain. This is always the case when ones conscience is opened to the reality of the cruelty they do.

I wish you the best of luck in your struggle to deal with your serious problem.

Sincerely,

Here is his reply!!!!! LMAO

Dear Chris,

Thank you for acknowledging how brutal bowhunting is. As you know, the pictures of a deer wounded by a bowhunter have turned thousands of people against this most bloody and inhuman sport.

Many hunters reach out to me -- as their conscience tries to deal with the cruelty of their actions. This is clearly what has happened with you. I wish I could help you through this most difficult time, but the true debate lies within your own mind, and it is you who must confront what you do.

My best wishes on this important endeavor.

Here is my response back to his letter to me. Can't wait to see what he has to say now!

Dear Stu,

I do not wish to get into a emailing debate over something that you will never succeed in eliminating. As to your response, There is no more brutality in Hunting then there is Picking fruits and vegetables. After all Stu plants also Breath and eat. They are alive . they sense climate changes and they respond to it. Is cutting your lawn bad. There are tiny creatures that live in the ground that we might kill with a lawnmower. And the only great pain I feel is not being able to go in the woods with my children right now exposing them to a terrific past time, sport, or hobby, however you want to view it.
As for my question to you in my first email; where are your morals? Are you placing adds in papers to stop global warming? Are you placing adds for canned goods for the hungry. Are you more concerned about the people or the fish that died in that horrible tsunami?
Why do you waste so much energy trying to stop a sport that your ancestors survived on. Without the bloodshed of animals you or your family would not be here.
The Human race is dying Stu. Aids, Cancer, Wars, Drunk Drivers, Murders, In many many ways we are dying. I don't think we will ever become extinct, but we are dying more tragically then an animal does by a dedicated woodsman who has nothing but respect for the animal and nature.
Brutality and pain. Brutality was the people dying in the 9-11 attack of the trade centers. MY brother being there narrowly escaping with his life as he saw people jumping out windows, taking theirs just so they wouldn't die a slow painful death by fire. Pain, is what all the world felt after that day. My point is Stu, There are far greater causes to fight for,And though we are different I would gladly fight some of those battles with you. I would love to save the world for my children and your children, everyone's children, for generations to come. That's a cause, Not trying to eliminate hunting.

Respectfully,
Anthony

here's what I sent em!

I truly feel bad for you and the members of your organization. How difficult it must be to realize that your very existence causes the death and suffering of animals. The land where your home rests once was habitat for wildlife. Assuming you are vegetarian, the food you consume is food snatched from the defenseless, hungry animals of the world. How do you deal with the perpetual guilt of knowing that something must die, whether from direct or indirect causes, every day just so you may live.

There is a solution for those animal rights followers who are truly pure of heart. Go out into the wild, end your existence so that you may cause no more death. You can help right your past wrongs by doing this in a location convenient to coyotes and other scavengers so that you may return a small portion of what you have taken from the animal world to them by providing them a meal.

Good Luck!

I saw some whacko on hannity and colmes one night say that man doesn't belong on earth and only the animals should live here.He then told hannity we should eliminate ourselves.Hannity said,"tell ya what bud,you lead the way and I'll follow"The guy got quiet.
But this is the kind of people we're dealing with.Don't they know the vegetables and fruits they eat were a living thing?

Guy's, don't waste your time with Stu. I am familiar with him, I've spoken to him and observed him for several years. I've also worked with the mentally ill and emotionally disturbed people for about 12 years now too, and in my opinion, he suffers from a degree of emotional instability and mental illness. I'm not saying that to just slam the guy, he really is suffering these problems. By getting into these e-mail battles with him, you are only doing exactly what he wants. You are feeding his warped sense of self importance by giving legitimacy to his 'cause'. By illicting these responses from hunters, he feels like he is accomplishing something. Ignore him and he will be faced every day with the realization of what he and his group mean: NOTHING.

Ignore him, his words and actions are our best evidence of who is on the right side of the issue. Most people can see extremists for what they are, we don't have to point it out. I'm serious, just don't waste your time on him, spend your time getting your friends and neighbors involved in saving hunting, not debating the issue with someone who is emotionally disturbed. Use their web sites to educate your friends and inspire them to act, but don't react angrily, then Stu wins. Let the emotions that those lies stir up motivate you to get involved, and get others involved, don't waste the energy on debating him and his kind.

Join your statewide hunting organizations, use your e-mail letters to write your state Legislators and Governor. Don't write e-mails to Stu, write to the editor of local papers with facts, and not emotionally charged, angry responses. And spend the $.37 on a stamp now and again to send a written letter, or make a phone call. Use all three types of communication, it carries more wieght than just e-mail.

Always present yourself in a respectful manner in the field and out, and don't be afraid to talk about your love for the outdoors, wildlife and hunting amid mixed company. Do it at Church, holiday or birthday parties, back yard Bar-B-Que's or anywhere else you can work it into the conversation after you've established a social connection other issues. You would be surprised how many non-hunters would be interested in hearing about what we see in the woods, just don't start off with that stuff if you don't know someone, and use common sense when talking to non-hunters. Don't be graphic or use terminology or phrases that only hunters relate to... remember your audience.

Once you've gotten to know someone, you can talk about hunting in a normal manner and not sound like a real wack job. Stu and his group cannot do that because their entire position is wacky, and people will see that.

Don't engage Stu and his group of troubled people, engage the non-hunting public and win them over. You won't win them all, but by always being respectful, down to earth and honest, you will win over more than you know. In the end, that is what matters, not how many fake adds they can run. Personal contact makes the difference, so make the contacts, and make the most of the contacts you make.
