The framework nearly mirrors that of the previous three years, with the exception of expanded antlerless deer hunting in Wildlife Management Unit 5C in the southeast portion of the state. The late antlerless deer season for WMU 5C and 5D will be Dec. 12-23 and Dec. 26-Jan. 28.
Isn't that just great. We have AR's and they want to reduce the herd to 6 DPSM with an anterless season of over 2 months. More males will be harvested as anterless deer than as antlered buck , so AR's will be totally irrelevant in 5C.

The bear season on Rockview ground directly affects me. My families property is almost entirly surounded by Rockviews ground. I'm not saying its a bad thing, we do have entirely too many bears here. It might be very interesting to say the least when all the pumpkin suits get on there with all the bears.

I hunted archery , early ML , the concurrent season and extended anterless season and didn't fire a shot . I saw a grand total of six deer during the concurrent and extended season and the six hunters didn't see a single buck.

Now ,what was the point you wanted to make?

SAD is it not ? I'm in 5c and dont worry there is not many deer to shoot anyway on public land. They can extend the season all they want. But you cant shoot what you cant see. People venturing to this area thinking it is full of deer are going to get one big suprise. The pockets of good deer popoulations are all posted and PATROLLED. My goal in the rest of my life is to get the hell out of this state. From what I know about the few private farms in the area that in the past allowed hunting, they will also be posted next year.

I feel sorry for everyone Not disabled. My disability is a God sent ,Amen I will buy a license next year only because I now have contacts with posted and patrolled corporation property full of deer.
I did not have one deer come to my feeder yet this year, even after heavy snow and 0 temps. 2 years ago I went thru 1200 lbs of feed and my yard looked like a mud fest. Not a track this year.
I really think I could punch them commissioners in the mouth and not feel bad about it,But with there block heads they never would feel it..
