I didn't hunt this year.
I live in Lancaster county, and I saw 10 deer in a field, at least 1 buck. This was in one field in an area with a relatively low deer population.

Westmoreland

Total season - 70 +/-. During archery saw minimum of 5-7 daily, with 2 bucks per sitting.. Not shooters (6s, small 8s) One real pig which I blew, got too cold and we bumped into one another..
First day of gun saw 22 deer with 9 bucks first day... Two shooters - one pig 8 pt that I missed with the old front stuffer and a 9pt that came in a few minutes later..Not big enough...

Second day saw 9pt and 2-6s and 8 doe

Third day saw 6 doe and one nice buck out of range not sure if I would have pulled the trigger...

Took a 9pt... Could not shoot a doe during the last three days of the season when we focus on does as I had some pieces of Sh!t, push my farm by slipping on...We wanted to take 6-8 doe, we got half...

Beaver county. Got 1 doe in archery, Nice 8pt 1st day of rifle. Saw deer everyday I was out. Lots of deer. Most of the bucks were AR legal. Was never more than 200 yards from road, but most of the deer were less than 100 yards from road.

Wow!! That statement will certainly go against the grain on this board.

1. Mostly Lehigh County

2. No, not in comparison to even last year and especially not since they instituted the two week rifle season for either buck or doe.

3. I filled my antlered and one antlerless tag.

1. Fayette/Westmoreland/Somerset/Greene/Warren Counties - all public land
2. I saw about 90 deer on the season - 5 big racks, about 20 scrubs the rest does/unidentified.
3. I killed a 9 point in Greene County (I nicked a really really nice one - but he escaped, whereabouts unknown) , one doe in Warren County and two does Fayette.

Saw a few less deer this year due to hunting new areas and the learning curve that comes with that. Habitat everywhere looked great - saw tons of really nice rubs/scrapes.

Huntingdon

Archery - 1 deer in 8 days in a treestand

Rifle - 4 deer in 4 days of hunting all first day

By the looks of this poll, some areas still have alot of deer but there are also areas that have very few deer.
