I just looked at the map again and realize that I have hunted 2G but it's been awhile. I've hunted SGL25 south of east branch dam. At the time, there were way too many very small deer and the habitat was pretty much wiped out up to about 4-5 feet off the ground. Now thats been 10 years or so and that was only a small part of a too big WMU but if the rest of it is similar habitat i could guess that the deer pop really needed to be whacked down sustantially. Again, I only saw a small part of 2G but it was the worst imbalance I've seen anywhere in this state. Anyone know SGL 25? Is it representative of 2G?

Not familiar with that area of 2G. All that I am is in Lycoming Co.. The things is like in most wmus there are areas that the herd does need cut back not all tho. This is where the plan of the PGC comes up short. It does not take this into consideration. It does not do this now. All it is now is a blanket kill the doe regardless if the area needs it or not. I will look that gamelands up BT maybe worth a day trip just see for myself what shape its in.
