3A has few doe left, the 2 1/2& 3 1/2 yr olds are still big spikes,ys and scrubby little rack bucks with the occasional nice rack being seen .
Alt's program around here has only lowered numbers and did nothing to increase buck rack size.
All it DID accomplish is to see more posted land now to save what few deer there are.

Yes,
I took a nice 9 point on 10/21 and had a really nice non-typical escape me this season. All told, I saw 19 bucks on stand this bow season and killed the last one (hunting some evenings, occasional fridays and every saturday). 14 of those bucks were legal, 5 of which were trophies.
All hunting was done in 2A, 2C, 4A and 2F. Saw 22 does/BB's. Deer sightings were down, but quality was up. I also did not get an opportunity to hunt as the rut began to heat up.
Not bad for having tagged out before the peak of the season.
Spotting has been the best ever, but slightly disappointed with the disproportionate number of does I saw on my most recent trip to Somerset County. One night yielded 250 deer, only 25 visible racks.

I agree parts of Pa have way too many deer BUT what about those areas of the state that don't???? What is Alt's plan there?????
Seems to many he just forgets to mention that at his rallies for Alt Program Supporters

I saw 10 different bucks on our property in the last two days:
2 spikes
1 six point
2 seven points
1 8 point
4 nine points
The biggest nine point would score in the 140s (gross). This was in Sullivan County on private land.

Our property is surrounded by thousands of acres of state land in the big woods. Alt can't do anything about those deer because there aren't enough hunters to cover all that area. He'll just have the does wiped out on the smaller tracts of public land that have better hunter access.
