no rut sign in nj???

guys the rut is in full swing right now. thats why your not seeing a lot of activity. the bigger bucks are with a hot doe and she is spending most of her time laying down. yo, you'd be laying down too if every time you stood up a buck tried to jump your bones.. last week was pre-rut,,bucks were cruising looking for the ladies { saw bucks all all} , now is full rut and mostly seeing small bucks and fawns. never fear,it will get better again soon

on vacation this week,,huntin' like crazy, and have we been seeing the big boys cruising. i let a real nice 7 pt. walk yesterday morning [8 yards broadside and i let him go],, dang huntin' buddy shot him last nite right across from where i saw sittin'. oh well, he burnt his tag, i still have mine for one of the monsters we been seeing. give me a call...935 6676

I am up in northern NJ...Morris county. I had a great October seeing bucks...but did not shoot because they were either too far away or not enough points (zone 6 antler restrictions).
However, November has been terrible. I've only seen 1 deer in November. A lone 6 pointer at 40 plus yards last Thursday. I've been hunting just about every morning before work.
