saw a whole bunch of bucks chasing on saturday and sunday. took off today and only saw 1 buck "nice 7 point" chasing a doe.
i think the wind was to strong for them today to be moving to much... maybe saturday i'll see some more
good luck!!

I was out all day Saturday. I saw a group of 5 doe/fawns and 2 six points that looked like twins. They were all together and the bucks didn't pay any attention to the does. They just all walked in together and fed for awhile and the two bucks wandered off together. No scrapes to speak of and just a few new rubs. I am hopeful it will kick into gear, only one week left. The big guys don't come out till it gets going and time is running out.

It's definitely in high gear here. That's how I got my doe last Saturday - she came in heaving with her tongue hanging out and a buck right on her tail. There's been a lot of chasing in early morning and just before dark. There are lots of rubs and scrapes and I've seen many, many deer overall including a huge antlered buck a few days ago. Now if only I could get a legal buck to cruise by me....

Bucks goin' full tilt here NW Pa, saw a nice (?) 6 point dancing in my neighbors yard like it was on catnip. It's amazing how there's any bucks left when you see 'em acting so stupid in the middle of the day, at one point it walked out into the middle of the road and somebody in their car had to stop and lay on the horn, and even then it payed no attention, just jumped the ditch with it's nose to the ground. Unfortunatly, I couldn' get to my bow quick enough--lol

many hunting clubs have been seeing deer rutting and chasing some does. The cold weather has helped. There is a pic on the home page of the clubs website that shows a good buck taken on the first.
