Hello i am a Somerset county resident. I've heard hunting is decent on sgl 42. I myself hunt on PrivateProperty so i have never hunted there myself but i have heard some good things about it.

I moved to Johnstown about a year ago. I have tried a few spots on SGL 42 but haven't had much luck. It's pretty huge. I believe it has 15,000 acres and there is state forest adjacent to it that has another 15-20,000 acres.
