That's right folks... Springfield PH area( Hampshire Co) is no more in WVa... it was being leased by the DNR for hunting area, but was sold yesterday to a Developer for 18 Mil.... yep..18 million smackers. City slickers are buying up ALL the hunting ground, due to the availability of it, and DEEP pockets. Local folk suck hind tit once again!! Get used to it Bros... they've alreday destroyed my home,Berkeley Co, where we USED to have orchards/farms etc... now.. nuthin' but houses & Condos...

I hear ya bro. Where in Berkeley County did you hunt? We currently hunt 300 acres about 1 mile from the Martinsburg Mall, and it will be a development next year. You cant blame the land owners, they offered almost 10 million for it.

Howdy guys--I'm originally from Hardy county and the urban sprawl is just something that is gonna eventually happen. I know that corridor h has really changed things back home as well. most the people that grew up there won't be able to purchase a homesite b/c of the radical increase in property values. I know that around moorefield there are many hunting clubs (I have a share in one) that own land and hopefully will never sale out but can you ever say never. Hopefully you can. Good Luck
