This Thursday is the start of the special youth deer hunt. It runs through Saturday. I think It's a great idea but I don't anticipate a lot of hunters in the woods to move the deer around. It's going to be interesting. I hope he atleast gets to see one. I've been scouting and I think I have some good spots picked out. How many of you guys/gals got kids who are going??

Taking my 2 kids (12 and 15) and a buddy and his kid (12) up to the ANF Thursday night.
My Illinois lease starts Friday but it'll be way more fun staying in PA and helping my 12 year old get his first deer.

i've done a couple of roofing jobs up in kane, infact i have one up there to bid now.

Their will be people out moving the deer. dont forget the disabled people,the muzzy hunters and bow hunters will be out

TheCONTRACTOR....... You ever been to the big buck contest up in KANE the first night? they got some true booners there! I hope to take mine there this year if archery doesnt work out down here in westmoreland CO!

I'm gonan be out every day. Gone out every year they have had it and have been lucky and connected on a doe every year in the season so far with the ol rifle. Hoping to do the same this year. Best of luck to everyone. God bless
