good luck to everyone - weather looks crappy. Friday morning may be huntable, but friday night and all day Saturday sounds horrible. Wait 11 months for this and mother nature gonna make us wait a little longer.

Last years opener was miserable for both bow and gun.
However both of those days, the activiy I saw was the most all season.
I got busted on the bow opener by a doe I did not see while watching 13 deer with one large 8 pointer in the field. He was certainly tending to them like shepard to sheep.
If I werent going to be out of town, there is no doubt I'd be out there, unless I cannot stay in the stand safely, which I would just go to a ground blind anyways.

Sunday looks to be a good day as of right now. There is supposed to be a good temp drop sat night to Sunday.
If you can find a spot where the wind will die down at sunset, that is a winner. The deer sould be out feeding after being bedded down all day from the heavy winds.
