I recently started to hunt and have a small place to do it in my woods but am looking for a solid place with a lot of activity. Just wondering if anybody knew any good places to hunt publicly or privately. Looking for a place in south central PA.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I would recommend searching your state's dept. of natural resources website for public hunting information. Next, just start asking anyone you meet that hunts for information. You will probably get invitations to hunt public/private land. It takes time, but you eventually have so many different areas to hunt you will have trouble deciding where to go. Good luck.

I use to live in New Freedom. How long have you been in that area?
I moved over 12 years ago when I joined the Coast Guard. My parents have a place in Parkton. It backs up to the Gunpowder park off of York Road.

Yea I live about about four to five miles from there. I have two friends that live like a minute from there. I've been here about my whole life. My family moved here and i was only about a year old. I just turned sixteen October 4th so i've been here a while. When do you get out of the Coast Guard?

I have at least 8 more years until I can retire. Then we are moving back to that area.
I remember going to school there and seeing all the deer in the front of the place. That was before they added onto the school. What a nice area.
