RE: Questions for the new jersey hunters here??
if you have a license from any State (RESIDENT) You don't need to take the test. But if you just have firearm lic. and you wanted to hunt bow, Yes you need to take a test. Same with Smokepole.

RE: Questions for the new jersey hunters here??
If you took the test in NY for firearm, archery, muzzleloader, then NJ wiil accept it. As far as transporting, and or hunting with a firearm: You must at all times while in possesion of a firearm ( ie transporting, hunting ) carry your NJ FIREARM PURCHASE ID CARD

RE: Questions for the new jersey hunters here??
I moved to NJ from PA. I showed them my PA Resident license...and they issue me a NJ Firearms license.
However, I needed to take the NJ archery course/test before they issued me a NJ Archery license. My PA license did not have the archery sticker on it...same goes for muzzleloader. |
