Russ- I too had a subscription to New York Sportman magazine. I got a letter from the publisher stating the magazine would no longer be published, and that they were replacing my forthcoming issues of New York Sportsman magazine with issues of In Fisherman magazine. I have nothing against In Fisherman magazine, but was given no choice by the publisher as to what magazine I might want or not want, or whether or not I wished a refund. I am glad that my subscription was due to run out in April. I will be sure to not subscribe to any magazine published by the same publisher in the future.

I also subscribed to the magazine. I think it's terrible that it is now gone.

It seems that this state doesn't like, or want to participate with its hunters all that much.

I hear that there is another NY magazine called "ANTLER" magazine. I've never seen it, but I've heard it mentioned before.

They did the same thing to me with PA Sportsman. It's no longer in pub either....they're sending me PA Fish & Game. So far it isn't too bad. There is lots of local stuff in it.

I ran a search and the new York Sportsman is being advertized for 11.95 for 8 issues.Is this the same magzine.I used to read it also.

In September I sent in a check to pay for the subscription.I have not heard from them,I did hear from N.Y. Game&Fish they told me the sportsmans magazine was out of buisness.They offerd me a subscription 12 issues for 12 dollars.
