Only if you go on weekends or on "special sale/promo" days. Go any day during the week after work and you will be shocked by the lack of people.

What time are they open til' during the week? I was there 2 weekends ago and it was NUTS. I've been there 3 times including the weekend after the opening and this time was easily the most crowded of the 3.
I was getting Vewy vewy fwustwated.[:@] I was trying to get some help at the gun counter which as you know would probably be understaffed with 10 guys........well they had a whopping 4 people working a mile long counter. People were getting testy because with all the people actually needing assistance, the second wave of people couldn't look in the cases.
I did scope out a new Flyfishing vest and some other stuff, but I was in and out in 30 minutes.[&o]

Next time will be a weeknight. I haven't even seen the African animals yet.

It's true. First time I went to Cabela's was a Friday morning in October...it wasn't crowded at all. Weekends are bad, you barely have enough room to waddle through the aisles.[:o]

Usually fridays arent crowded at all, but last friday woo let me tell ya packed house.. I think the nice weather around here is giving people the itch to get shopping for outdoor gear. The fishing section was packed.

I took the 2 hr drive to Cabelas last month. Well worth the trip.
