Got a conversation started on another thread about how many deer NY hunters take. Just want to know what hunters actually take each year. So how many did you get last year and in previous years?

1 - last year
none for the 2 years before that
2 - 4 years ago

4 does and a buck..1 with bow, rest with 20ga. shotgun. After feeding the landowners, i only have 2 in the freezer...but a small price to pay for good land to hunt! i wouldve given em kobe beef if i didnt get a deer!

my buddy in Owasco - out of 5 hunters: last year and year before -
~5 deer/yr.

10, 8 with the bow and 2 with the rifle. All but one in area 2B The other one was in Pike County Illinois.

3 this year.
4 two seasons ago.
Most years four.

I could have shot at least three more this year.

A friend of mone took 10 this season. He got the two bonus tags when they were offered in 7S and filled someones doe permits for them. He shot four on Thanksgiving morning with out getting out of his stand. All four were one shot kills and died in sight.

As far as hunting buddies go it went like this 2,5,4,5,4 and 1.
