Our baby was born on Saturday evening. Baby girl (Katie). She was 8lb 9oz and 21 inches long. Everyone is healthy and we left the hospital on Monday. We headed up to spend time with the wife's family in the Poconos and I actually got to hunt on Tuesday and Wednesday. I didn't get anything but I did see a bear and 8 turkeys.

Glad you got a chnace to get out and enjoy too. Seeing other wildlife while deer hunting is half the fun!!

My eyes were getting heavy on the stand that morning. That bear walking by woke me right up and I was very alert the rest of the day. We also have a 17 month old boy who is trying to adjust to not being the center of our attention anymore. I feel bad for the little guy but he'll adjust. I have some summer sausage in the smoker right now that he and I will share tonight. Male bonding

Congrats to both you guys.... I haven't had a baby in about 11 years but my hats off to you guys and your other half.

This weeks hunting in the Poconos was a little better than last week. The darn wind died down but came back yesterday with a vengenance. I'm trying to help my friend get another doe this weekend so we will be out there on the evening hunt Saturday.
