why wouldn't you?? did you know only 40 out of 50 states require it? I don't get it. Did you know 9 out of 10 deaths were not wearing hunter orange? I don't get it. A simple hat could make the difference. 3 deaths in my hometown this season. 3 out of 3 were in camo. I don't get it. One was out of a tree stand. Wear the orange. It doesn't spook the deer as much as people lead you to believe. I'll be honest, I'm not covered from head to toe with the stuff for the simple reason that I don't want to look like a big cube in the middle of the woods. Make your stand concealed to break up your pattern and wear a vest and hat. No more hunters killed!!! The deer are definitelynot worth that.

I am a firm believer in wearing Blaze Orange but I don't feel it should be Mandatory to wear it. I wear it all the time during gun season and late Ml season in western NY. There are alot of jerks out there that take "sound shots"
and shoot at whatever is moving. If it's mandatory and someone breaks the law by not wearing it, that person would be more likely to get shot that if it wasn't mandatory as the shooter wouldn't see any blaze orange and figure it's a deer. I won't hunt without it !

I don't have any problem with this .
I knew it was only a matter of time before it would happen.
I wear orange every time I go to the woods not just during hunting season.
