Default Deer On The Hoof 2024 Edition

Starting to see a ton of buck activity although most of it is still nocturnal.

Here are several videos from a camera I have on the side of a gas well road where there is a heavily used deer crossing.

Lots of rubs and scrapes in that area as well.

I've lost count of the number of smaller bucks but these are the best of the rest.

The 3rd video does answer one of the questions I had. That is obviously the same deer that was a tall seven point from last year but he is now a more symmetrical six point. Still an impressive looking deer.






Edit: Looks like numbers 2 & 5 are probably the same deer, just a couple of days apart.

Here's a daylight video of the big guy with the drop beam scattering does from what's left of a Buck Forage Oats plot. Between a serious lack of rain and over browsing that plot is pretty much toast.
