RE: confused New Yorker

four of us hunted in 7m sherburn area ,we saw more yotes than anything ,my one buddy shot a small yote on sun morning ,i saw four deer from fri afternnon to mon morning ,i sat all day with the exception of a hour each day to get a bowl of soup and a sandwich ,we hunted hard and saw only a few deer ,the orchard on my property had some sign but not much ,alot of apples on ground ,only saw a few small rubs and one scrape ,we hunted both my property and brookfeild forest and did not see any buck sign to speak of ,did see a few at night spotting .but no big bucks like most years ,my buddys have 300acres in smyrna and they have been seeing a few good bucks and alot of rutting activity so go fiigure, also saw alot of deer mid day along rt12 on way home saw a few good bucks but dont know true size as they where far off but if you can see horns from 200 to 300yds driving it is probaly a good buck .

Ive seen deer evertime I have been out, including four very nice bucks. Of course Irony has it that I havent been successful yet. I have seen fawns with their mothers as of Friday, which I cannot believe, cause usually they are dispelled by now for the rut. I had a large 10' er bed down 50 yds from me, for over 1.5 hrs, and no shot.....blah!
