Default My Hunt This morning

I was out this morning before dark. I saw two bucks within 10 yards of me. One was a five and the other a six. They were just walking and hanging around with each other. I also saw a buck chasing a doe real hard 20 yards away from my stand.
I took a shot at a small doe real close and I shot over her. She circled around and came back and was sniffing my arrow. I shot her and she ran 30 yards and went down. The 6 point buck spooked and took off and the 5 point buck came over and was smelling the dead doe.
Unusual morning.

I was going to ask you why you didn' t choose one of the bucks - then I remembered the " earn a buck" thing. Good job. It sounds like you have a good stand for bucks. Should be a good season for you.

Congrats Joe...Now go get them bucks. I hunt up in Kingwood. Earn a buck is making me mad this year! Could of had a nice buck on Saturday!

Question for ya...Why did Sportsman Rendezvous get rid of their guns?

Jersey Joe when I asked them they said they are waiting for a permit. I started asking more questions and was told by the sales kids they did,' t know what was happenning.
