vince, I think I just seen your post on another site. I'm from Pa. also. your son can take the hunters safety class now that hes 11. a 20 gauge is a good shotgun for him to start with. single shot or pump loaded one at a time until he gets more accustom to shooting. squirrel hunting is fun, that's why I still enjoy it.
