It's been a few years. The farms I hunted there had been in the "family community" for generations. Granted not as many Amish as in Lancaster county but there were a few. Hate hearing it has fallen so far to the anti's.

SE PA where I live has very few bear, and turkeys are pretty scarce as well. Most guys I know (myself included) travel to the northern or western part of the state to hunt bear or turkeys. There are a lot of deer here, lots of geese and squirrels also. Finding private land to hunt can be tricky; some landowners will allow bowhunting, but it takes a lot of effort to find properties.
