How did the WV hunters do on saturday?
All i saw were two doe all day in Webster Co and that was in evening. Think the rain the night before that had quit around 9pm had them up feeding all night was reason for not seing much all morning.

I saw a 6 point and a nice 8 point in Wyoming county but they were young deer.... hard to take a small deer when you know there are much larger bucks in the area.
Maybe next weekend will be better.
Have a great day

Saw only one Saturday, but only got to hunt in the last 2 hours. Did see a few on Sunday, but no bucks.
Amazingly though I heard some very loud bows....must be new. They made the sound, Ka....blammmmmmm. I heard at least 2 or 3 at different times in different directions. What a shame.[:' (]

All I saw was FOG sat morning. That was a bummer. Sat evening I saw 3 does, passed the shot up at 10 yds. I also had a small black bear piddle around for a while that evenning. Too small to shoot though, probably about 100lbs or so. Cute little fella though[:-]
Oh, and wvvet and RacHunter...that is almost a guarantee where I hunt. Every year during bow season, the high powered bows come out. It' s pretty bad, but I doubt WV' s dnr will ever do anything to change it. They are way undermanned and underfunded.

I passed on a small buck Sat afternoon, and killed a nice fat doe right at the end of legal shooting time.
I heard one of those loud bows too Sat morning. I was pissed. I went looking for the person, and I found them. It was a 16yr old kid shooting squirrels. OOPS LOL[][][] I was ready to run him in...but the fact that he was doing nothing wrong made that difficult. LOL
I didn' t see a deer from daylight to past noon. Sat evening I moved to a different oak flat, and the acorns were raining down. I saw several deer. Now I just gotta wait for a biggun to fill my other tag.

I passed on a small buck Sat. morning and then saw two large ones sparring about 400 yds. out.
Was out Monday until about 1 and didn' t see a thing, just listened to the apples hit the ground for hours.
Hopefully it will cool down soon.
Good luck
