RE: How are the acorns in your area,NY,PA?

Acorns near my stand are about what they were last year. Property owner said my side that I hunt is exceptionally full of acorns compared to the other sides of the property. He knows I haven' t been out more than 2 days and haven' t seen anything. There are signs just not deer when I have been out.

I think Huricane Isabel and then the storms and winds last week 50 mph gusts have done a number on the leaves that is for sure. I can see for a real long way compared to the opener when the leaves were on the trees.

Every deer I see is browsing on briars and shoots and well, just browse. I haven' t killed anything yet to see if they are eating anything else.
