Turkey in Delaware Public Land
I only have access to public hunting in Delaware, so I was wondering if anyone could tell me what areas have the largest turkey population? Thanks!!!

Unless something has changed in the past year you have to enter the drawings this month and draw a Delaware public land turkey license. Any public land that's included in the draw will have good turkey hunting because hunters are limited due to the draw. Its also a shorter season on public land than it is on private in DE. And there is no drawing for private land.

Welcome. I am new here too. I don't hunt Delaware either but Moose gave you a good answer. Good luck!

Apology accepted. Enjoy the website. :D

I took a quick look, there aren't a whole lot of opportunities to hunt turkeys on public land, and it's on a draw system. Seems to me you'd have better luck trying to find private land to hunt, or hunt in a nearby state (PA, NJ, MD).
