Default My best hunt ever

This is my grandsons first turkey hunt.and he was done at 6 am and even made it home in time for school.11 in beard 21lbs 1 1/8in spurs.the 12 ga gave him a good kick but he loved the hunt.he got it on the 2nd and still talks about it.the turkey gave us a 25 min strut show and he waited for the perfect shot.this is a great turkey for a 8 year old

Congrats to your grandson. It's always best in the woods when you can share special moments with people you love.

That's fantastic. I know that even if we don't get anything, the best days I spend afield are with my grandson. I am taking him down the bowshop this week for a new youth compound bow to get him started shooting a REAL bow.
