Default maine hunting 2012

hi everyone im not new to the site but havent been around for a while, im searching and searching and not finding a maine thread anywhere. id like to share hunting storys from the year with my fellow mainah's. personally i had an amazing year of hunting as my daughter turned ten in april just in time for the spring turkey, and shes been in the woods with me since. she harvested a turkey, several partridge, a very nice doe on youth day, and i got the best buck of my hunting career (146" 180lb ten point) lets get the storys coming and ill get some pics with the details of the hunts posted as soon as i can

Lived in Southern Maine all my life. We have a lot of hunting pressure down here.

I'm not from Maine but hunted for over 30 years in the state and still do. Jackman is a beautiful area. I ride ATV's in that area twice a year. I deer hunted one year in the area and saw a few deer but nothing I wanted to shoot. I shot what would have been a 6 point but he messes with the wrong deer and had half his rack busted off. Not the prettiest deer but had a nice body.
