Congrats on your cow tag! I hope you get to fill it! Cows are the best eating out of them anyhow as they do not fight around durring the rut like the bulls do.

Very nice! I was lucky enough to hunt for moose in Canada one year, and got a medium sized bull. Didn't have to buy any meat for the rest of the year though! Facing one for the first time can be a shocking experience, as many of them don't seem intimidated by a hunter standing very close to them and they just kind of look at you. Best of luck!
