Old hunting camp on state gamelands
I was out with some friends looking for sheds and one spot we checked has a camp on it in the middle of the state gamelands and according to one of the locals, he hasn't seen anybody at that camp for years. I kinda fell in love with it's location and would like to buy it (if it's for sale) or get it for back taxes, whatever the case maybe. I have the camp permit number and was wondering if i could find out who's camp it was and track them down and make a offer to buy, etc? Or do i need to get more info and go through the courthouse to see if it's up for taxes?

Well I know its not our camp. It sets in the middle of nowhere with no running water (except the creek) and no electricity. Not even any cell phone service. When you're there you feel like you are back in a more simpler time. And at times it is so quiet there the silence is deafening.

Cant be on state gamelands. There are no camps allowed. State forest they still alllow camps.Only way it could be on a gamelands is if there is a parcel thats is still in private hands and has gamelands around it.
