Coyote Hunting in New York State

Default Coyote Hunting in New York State

Looking for a place/area where my sons can I can shoot coyotes. Willing to pay or trade for striped bass fishing trip off Eastern Long Island.

Coyotes are abundant in upstate NY.Most any public land will work.Good luck!

I hunt right around home.Thats the Boonville/Port Leyden area which are right on the Oneida/Lewis county line.Herkimer co is also within minutes.For the SZ I go to my friends camp in N Pitcher in Chenango co.All have large tracts of state lands.If you don't have one get the NY Atlas and Gazateer.It shows the whole state on topo maps.Really depends where you're located and how far you're willing to drive.

There is a ton of those buggers over here.
There will less of them after deer season.

You don't have to go so far north. Herkimer County, near Little Falls, is loaded with them. They are the only thing I saw moving on opening day.

W've killed more coyotes than deer so far this year.
