Hey thanks!
As it happens, on my last bowhunt of the season today, I bumped the buck that must be making the rubs I've seen after discovering his "bedroom" in the morning. Haven't seen anything but does and a smallish forkhorn to date.
Nice looking deer, 6 or an 8, good sized body-I'll be up early.

No luck for me this morning in 7F. Only heard 4 or 5 shots in the area too.. It started getting real hot so I came back home for breakfast, I will be back out tonight.

Default No shot,but

the 6 or 8 I saw yesterday turns out to be more of a 10 with a drop tine and has to weigh at least 225 on the hoof!
Bumped into him same place ( w/in 50 yds of my stand) & almost the same time(stupid me).
Second biggest deer I've ever seen.

I will humbly say that of the 2 of us he's probably the better man, we'll see...

Tagged out at 10:30. Caught a 7 point trailing a doe. Saw him last week while archery hunting but couldn't get him to respond to bleats or grunts. Would probably have been an 8 but right side was damaged during development. Not a bragging story but a nice young healthy deer with lots of meat! Lots of does still in the area excited about muzzleloader season.

Me and two buddys did drives all day. In total 6 deer were kicked up.. 3 Does, A fawn, An inside the ears 5 point, and a spike buck. I harvested the spike buck and my buddy took a mature doe. Tough conditions in this heat but it payed off staying active pushing the thickest stuff we could find and pushing cattails in swamps. Good Luck Everyone in the upcoming weeks!
