Default Pennsylvania Wilds

Anyone have any insight as to what is happening with "Fast Eddie's" PA Wilds program? All the hotels, restaurants, resorts, etc. that Rendell was planning for the elk-inhabited areas? Sure hope it's come to a screeching halt. I don't mind at all about sharing the State Forests and Game Lands with the general public, but I'll be darned if I'm gonna let them force me out of the woods in hunting season so they can hike on trails or camp on ground they never invested a cent in, and then tell me they're nervous about hiking in hunting season. Bambi syndrome city folks........

Seems to me that I heard a rumor to that effect. Wouldn't surprise me at all. He has (had) absolutely no concept of what that country means to us..... and couldn't care less if he did.

A Philly gangster would'nt. What good is/was that area to him if money couldn't be skimmed off it.

Fast Eddie said littering the state with casinos would lower my property tax. Haven't seen dime one of that. The turnpike tolls to get to our cabin went from $2.80 to $5.25 in the last few years, though.

..... Yeah. And to top that off, they weren't even going to print the fares between interchanges on the tickets. I understand that is currently the mode, but public outrage to that sneaky little plan has caused that to be changed back to the old "here's what it's gonna cost" system a person could understand. Stevie Wonder could have seen through that one.... Easier to keep raising rates on a regular basis if they didn't have to print new tickets all the time. I think Ed will have to be screwed into the ground when he passes......

If anything, our property taxes went up! The reason turnpike tolls went up is because fast Eddie couldnt sell it to some foreign country.
