Default hunting rubs and scrapes??????

So I have been hunting a scrape line/ rub line for the past three weeks. I live in Ny and have hunted here for teh past gew eeks and I just spent 4 days hunting at my dads in Maryland. I hunted over a ton of scrapes and rubs just behind his house. So between NY and Maryland I have not seen one buck. It seems as if they are visiting the sights at night as there are signs that they have been there in the morning of the next day. So when the deer you are hunting are totally nocturnal what can you do? Any advice?

sit and wait. hope that the rut will drive them around. and hope the severe cold weather will push them around.

as i was looking for my arrow sunday morning from my saturday evening doe, i saw an awesome buck , smack dab in the middle of an alfalfa field with no other dear around him. he wasnt feeding either, and it was like 11AM

figure that one out.

I drop some doe in heat scent along the rub line and it increased the buck traffic during the day allowing for a shot.
