Default Need tips on food Plot

I live in maine, I want to start a few food plots. I have never done one so any advice would be great.

get a soil sample...find the seed you want t use...take it to lesco with your soil sample...they will tell you what to do as far as making the soil hospitable for your seed.

Go up to the wildlife management section here in the forums,,,those guys have some great info and they will help ya out,,,,,good luck with your plots,,,adds alot to the season!
