The audit is claiming there are still about a million deer in PA before hunting season.

Ah, no. They are making fun of the USP, Mohr, morons who believe in mountian lions, the smuck Slinsky, the "special" hunters of the USP, the USP BOD who claimed there were two species of deer in PA the brown and gray, blue bird and hunters that claim there are no deer left in PA.

I wonder why a guy with WV in his screenname cares so much about Pa deer issues anyway....IMHO non Resident hunters get what we have to offer an like it or get out

I like what PA has to offer. I am not the one complaining about the deer herd in PA or the job the GC is doing managing the herd and it's habitat.

[QUOTE] Until they can factor in poachng, people not sending harvest report cards, and do and actual hard count, that number means nothing to me.
[/QUOTE

I never said there were no deer left in PA or anything close to it and you can't provide one quote to support your false and misleading claim.

Furthermore, if we now have 1M PS deer, that means the herd has been reduced by 37% ,since we had 1.6M deer in 2000 and that fact is supported by the fact that the buck harvest has decreased by about 40%.

How do you justify demanding another $100 out of a non resident when you oppose a $5 increase for yourself?

cut out the early in-line season on doe,go back too the 3 day doe season,do away with DMAPS on state land,go back to county only doe permits,i would give the pgc 10 dollars more on license increase.

I can see merit to both sides of the argument.

Getting involved with one side or the other takes the fun out of hunting, though.

I admire everyone's passion, but I just can't get that deep into it.

Getting heated in politics takes it all out of me. The 2008 presidential election almost put me over the edge
