RE: Anyone Hunt Allaire State Park In NJ????
Yes I have hunted Turkey Swamp and killed a few deer in there with a bow, but not for about 10 years now. I always seem to run into people so I found other places. Colliers Mills is a big place not to hard to get away from people there as long as your willing to walk. Lots of nice deer taken from there, my dad killed a couple bucks there last year and I had the oportunity to shoot some smaller bucks but opted to wait. (It paid off). Fort Dix has some good hunting, they have a muzzle loader season in the middle of the rut. There is a ton of room in the Whiting area either zones 18 or 21. Whiting, Manchester and Greenwood Forest WMAs and Lebenon State Forest. I don' t feel hunting is a competative sport so I hate competing for places to hunt. Good Luck, Chris
