Default Saturday May Be The Best

Judging by the forecast...cold and clear/ sunny.....may be the best day yet to kill a deer this gun season. I think alot of folks are still looking for their buck, and I expect a good turnout Saturday, and the colder temps and fair weather should keep deer and hunters moving. Couple that with a frontal system arriving on Sunday....I dunno. Just got kinda optimistic just now. Good luck all of you still in the "No Buck Club". Nothing personal, but I'd like to skip the rest of your meetings this year!

I'll be out there with my bow. Couldnt get excited about goin out in this this wind the last few days but I'll be in my favorite late season spot Saturday cause this'll be the last chance at a nice buck till after Christmas.

Good luck to all who are still looking for that buck!

How much snow cover do you have in the western part of the state? Here in 5C we don't have a lot but what we have will be frozen solid and walking will be awfully crunchy.

As of this minute we have an inch of fresh stuff in SW PA and the weather report is predicting a big load of white for the lake effect zones in NW PA Up to a foot just inland from Erie and some lake effect snow as far in as the ANF
