I hit a doe at 60 yards in the woods. The blood trail was consistent with a low hit, and we tracked it for 2 1/2 hrs before losing it in a swampy area , we decided to stop pushing it. Gonna go back in there tomorrow and look where I left off, but there will no doubt be no blood trail left.
My buddy saw a doe while I was tracking mine, and I also jumped 2 more in the afternoon during a drive.

Seems like the drop in temps got em moving, and feeling frisky. My friends uncle saw 5 does and a buck from the stand I was in yesterday, and my other buddy had a 6 pt come in with a doe, but neither one could get a shot. No luck finding yesterdays doe, but she was still brown, and when I went back to the scene of the crime, there was little blood, and white hair which leads me to believe belly shot.

Hunted zone 10 Monday and Tuesday , shot a 7 pt that dressed at 118. Old deer though. Checked it in at Bass Pro , F&G was there checking and weighing . Saw 5 deer Mon,,3 Tuesday AM . Spent 8 solid days hunting my place in NH and never saw a deer, so Mass opener was good for me. Saw some very new scrapes while I was out , so they must still be lookin for does still . Back to NH for the weekend , hope to fill that tag on a wall hanger , probably wont shoot a small buck unless I let my son shoot. Good luck guys , they're still plenty of time .
