Turkey hunting
#1
I just found out that I am going turkey hunting and possibly hunting for something else. I have two questions. The first is I'm looking is the possibility of buying another shotgun, but I really don't need one
with my 1300. But I really like the mossberg 835 tactical turkey and wanted to know if anyone has one or knows someone who has one and if its any good. Also would anyone know if the public hunting land in NYS have their own websites. Iv been on the NYS fish and wild life website and I don't find it a help maybe its just me it probably is.

Give this link a try it is the ny dec interactive mapping system, pretty much just zoom in by clicking your mouse. You will notice there is a legend on the side with boxes checked if you uncheck the boxes that feature will disappear or if you check it like the topogaraphic box elevations will appear. Also depending where you are hunting nyc resevoir system has alot of public land open but it requires an access permint and a hunting permit.

An access permit is NO longer required on NYC DEP land as of last December.
