Ihave a question about the picture on the cover of the PA hunting digest

Does this elk suffer from short jaw syndrome?
(This occurs from inbreeding)
The lower jaw appears to be much shorter on the elk in the photo.
I once shot a doe in West Virginia with short jaw.

Pull up some internet pictures of elk and I think you will find they all have a lower jaw that appears to be shorter then the upper jaw due to also having a nose at the end of the upper jaw.

I did just that.
I pulled up several pics. Some did appear to have a shorter bottom jaw yet some didn't.
Just looks too short to me, on that digest elk.
Thought maybe some inbreeding was going on.
