These ridiculous banning are whats driven this site to its knees, combine that with add fiasco a month or so back and its easy to see why there are not enough posters to even carry on a discussion any more.
This place has gone from one of the most enjoyable sites available, to just a place to stop in every couple days to see if anyone bothered to post anything new.:eek:

I hate to admit it but, I have to agree with you on this one. Not to mention when you go to check out a certain post it has been changed and goes to no where what it was originally posted as. Then someone wants to stur things up and starts an arguement over something. Just for the sake of getting things heated up.. I am finding myself traveling farther away from this site as well. it's a shame because was a great site with alot of info for all. For nowI will be more carefull to where i respond to a post.. It's a shame the mods doen't appear to see where it is heading right now..

I still think they should allow sproul back as well.. BRING BACK SPROULMAN...

I get the feeling that this thread simply hasn't had a visit from a mod yet. The other one got locked right away but had Sprouls name in the header.

This site has definitely gone downhill. When Sproul can get banned and the instigator is still a member, something has definitely gone awry. I've been here through the two big crashes that reset us each time and probably have twice as many posts as my profile shows and I'veseen far far worse stuff than Sp[roul ever did go on here every day.

Hisbanning coupled with the technical problems just trying to get on or post here have sent me away to other sites when I have the time and that's a shame because this USED TO BE myfavorite hunting BB

Which makes me want to ask, does anyone know Sprouls screen names on any of those? I know that Rooster Cogburn sure sounds like him on HPA but I havent seen him there in awhile either.

I have no problem with bowsite or archery talk, but If you do not have your head firmly embedded in pgcs arse, i wouldnt suggest hpa.

Yeah. ha ha ha. Plenty of critics.

Like Boop on the pgc board.....They area kept a tiny minority by design. Ahandful of token lameducks, as opposed to thousands who were booted by the VERY heavy pgc/dcnr/audubon//// presence.

A couple of harmlesssorts who are no danger of pointing out how screwed up the pgc plan really is and are good atknowing exactly when to keep their mouths shut if they wanna stay members.

Its by far the #1 most politicaldriven and biased site on the internet, and that includes being compared with usp site.

In effort to stick with the theme of the thread....

Well done blkpowder. Ok mods it is time to consider granting a pardon to Sproulman. Granting a second chance will be a fantastic gesture to all of the members who have become somewhat disenfranchised with the way the site has changed. Give us this small concession and you will be rewarded with more usersand increased post counts. In addition, many of us would like to see a somewhat more lenient banning policy. I am in favor of keeping this site civil but often times the old 3 day ban was very effective in tempering the overall emotions and still allowed for the forums to be fun and challenging. This will be a major step in returning HNI to TOPDAWG in outdoor sport web sites. Come onRob, Cal and Redhawk. Get together and show us a small bit of empathy.

Many of us have done it but we allus need to put a bring back Sproulman line in our signature. That gets seen everywhere we post.

They probably figure it will fizzle out and the problem will go away (the ostrich syndrome). We went through something like this several years ago when 2 of the most popular characters that ever lived, datamax and tardfarmer were banned after airing their grievances against HNI in the public forum. The main issue was canned hunting among other things. At that time the members who had bring them back in the sig line we were all told to change the sig line or risk banning.

AnywaysI had an e-mail from our friend sproul and he is surprized to say the least at all the e-mails he has gotten from all the good friends here on Huntingnet.. Said he was offerd a new dog for free because of a misunderstanding and the people thought his dog was shot.. Didn't really say if he was doing any turkey hunting or fishing but I am quite sure he is.

So lets keep this going and see if and when we can all get sproul back!
