ORIGINAL: BTBowhunter ORIGINAL: bawanajim ORIGINAL: Maverick 1 The mouthy minority has managed to make just enough noise that a license increase has been stalled. If just a few more of the reasonable majority would make our position known, it could have been passed by now. How do you know who the minority is and who the majority is? I'm not sure if its a sign of mental deficiency or just a "sign", but "most" of the "minority" seem incapable of mastering the quote function.
"LMFAO" ;) |
RE: Hunting is great in PA?????
It's funny how the voices of so "many", have become as silent as a single lamb.

I beg to differ, good hunting is an eltitlement when we are forced to pay their prices, abide by "their" rules, be force fed their propoganda, and have virtually no say in the running of the PGC and it's policies !!!

ORIGINAL: Maverick 1 ORIGINAL: Maverick 1 The mouthy minority has managed to make just enough noise that a license increase has been stalled. If just a few more of the reasonable majority would make our position known, it could have been passed by now. How do you know who the minority is and who the majority is? First is the notable fact that only one very small organization has participated as an organization in the use of the fee increase for blackmail. All the rest are either on record supporting the increase or are neutral on the subject. PFSC, UBP, NWTF,RGS,RMEF,PF etc etc. Setting aside the USP website, which doesnt allow nonmembers to even view their forum. Everyoutdoor forum where PA is a subject other than this one shows overwhelming support for a license increase. Here it seems to be 50/50 but, of course, we all know that this site has become the last stopping point for posters that have been banned elswhere and even here for that matter. Notably, every single one who refers to being banned elsewhere, hsa expressed views opposing the fee increase. Common sense says that this site isn't representative of the states sportsmen. Finally, theres the age old documented fact that people tend to speak up when unhappy or angry but when content, we don't hear from them. Marketing research, politcal polls etc have varied between a 3-1to as much as 10-1 ratio between the content (the 3 to 10) vs the non content (the 1) in terms of being motivated to speak out on an issue. Of course this will induced a bold print technicolorranting tantrum from the cornhole and a barrage of numbers from the bird but it is undeniable that the USP stands alone among all the other organized sportsmens groups with its' paltry estimated 2000 members in leading the opposition for a license increase. There may be some obscure group I may have missed but my point has been made. What proof do you have that the dissenters represent a majority??? |

The last time I checked , they were called hunting privlages. Nobody is holding a gun to your head to buy a hunting tag. If you think Pa is expensive, buy a outfitter sponsered combination elk/deer tag for non resident fromMontana,$1500 bucks! If you want to play your going to pay. |
