Yep. Thats where I draw the line. They are twice the challenge of crossguns and you dont have the "type" user associated with it.

But judging by the response pgc got on the issue, most didnt want crossbows. They were shoved down our throats anyway. And no, I didnt see compounds ever being of the same magnitude of dissent. Like a couple of the boc who voted no said.... I see no upside. Just pizzing off hunters.
The same thing could be said for the relationship between a long bow and a compound bow.

SO?? Dont whine about where I draw the line. Petition compounds to be done away with if you like. If thats how you see compounds I trust you'll also be against crossbows which are even far easier to use and not even a bow? If so, I dont agree with you on the compound issue, but respect your opinion.

Ifyoure just using one of thecrossgunners most famous anticompound lines, just a bunch of nonsense hooey just to sugar coat your support of crossguns or that you dont like where I myself draw the line... sorry, Ive heard it all before and its no more valid now than previously.

I'm not whining. You see, I can use a cross-bow whether or not they are included for the general population during archery season. But i get a kick out of people saying "here is where I think they should draw the line". This is called rationalizing. It fits my agenda - my modernized weapon is ok, yours isn't.

Then post what you want about the state or states you hunt.
No reason to bother - this is just anotherthread on Pa.
No one even botheredto respond with their state- just assume its all about Pa.

Hey, what ever makes yourself feel better about using a crossbow.

Btw, my "modernized weapon' is aBOW and has been legal for 3 or 4 decades. (LOL)

My modernized weapon wasnt the one that had 90% saying they didnt want it and got it shoved down our throats anyway, in a time when more harvest is the last thing we need.

Saying a crossgun should be legal because a compound is... by your rationale, would mean a 300 ultramagshould be just as welcome in archery season, because a compound is easier to use than a longbow, and now with crossguns legal, they are easier than a compound by far, so what next? We GOTTA squeeze SOMETHING else in! (LOL).... Your rationale isnt very rational. Things were just peachy with archery season previously. Pgc hosed the sportsmen of Pa yet again.

Look at the recognition of cross-bows as archery equipmentin the "Cross-bows will bring new blood" thread, as posted by SteveBNy.And saying that thingswere justpeachy? That's what I thoughtyears ago when they introduced compound bows. I didn't want them.

So? Am I supposed to take one disgruntled pro-crossbow guys nonsense post as meaningful? (LOL)

Ive read so many posts about slob crossbowers that were legal users in the sras than any other single faction of Pa hunters! (LOL) Roadhunting, taking far too long of shots, traipsing into the woods at 8 am with cigarette lit talking loudly. lol....

I dont support crossgun use in Pa for very good reasons. DOnt like it, and want my "approval"Tough. Talk about compounds falsely. That'll even the score! (LOL)(LOL)(LOL) You guys truly are a funny bunch. (LOL) Anyway, Im done on this topic for now. Its a done deal. Pgcs made their mess now we must live with it. Theyre legal, but I have zero respect for the handful of able bodied lazy oafs that begged for the shortcut,or forthe handful of complete antideer, nonhunter friendly commissioners that have been a thorn in Pas side for the last several years.

Thanks for stating the obvious. If hunters had their say, they wouldnt have been legalized.

No Corny, Im not talking about one man's opinion. Refer to the quotethat I just posted in the "Bring new blood" thread. Cut and paste won't work for me again in this forum.
