RE: Is the P.G.C. in suicide mode?

Having socalled hunters like Denny etc. who think these idiots are "friends' to we hunters is doing us all a great disservice as well.
Couldn't agree more but hearing you say it makes me laugh. Ole Denny boy is nothing more than a wise-ass that likes to come on here and stir things up a bit. He must be bored over there on HPA since they got rid of all us malcontents. Frankly, I wish he would keep his dribble over there but I suppose that's wishful thinking.

What REALLY stinks is that one board member will now reap finacial rewards as a direct result of full inclusion because he owns a shop that sells xbows. He should have recused himself from the whole process.

No BOC member that I'm aware of, who will profit from the inclusion of xbows in archery seasons. Neitheroutgoing commissionerSchleiden nor Palonewill benefit. Boop is an attorney; Schreffler is a retired educator, farmer, etc; Delaney is a professional fireman/EMT; Weaner is a school teacher.

Some on other boards have insisted Isabella will, because "he owns a gunshop". Isabella doesn't own a "gunshop". He's a partner in a business whose primary focus is in sellingPolice equipment and related firearms.
Is it not Schleiden, that has the sports shop?
I too, had read that Schleiden had a shop and sold crossbows. If that is not accurate, I will stand corrected. I did read it and I dont think it was on a forum like this. I beleive it was aprinted source. Dang, now I gotta go look for it.

When it was brought up here, RSB seemed to know what and who we were talking about as he expressed the opinion that the shop was located in a SRA and wouldn't likely see a big growth in xbow sales since they were already in a crossbow legal area.

I thought you were referring to Commissioner Isabella when you talked about a Commissioner with a conflict of interest, due to owning a sporting good shop.

Commissioner Isabella does own a police supply business that also deals in firearms. When the comment of a conflict of interest due to owning a sporting good store I just assumed Commissioner Isabella’s business might also sell crossbows. I don’t know if they sell crossbows or not since I have never been in the business, maybe they do or maybe they don’t, I simply don’t know one way or the other.

I do know though that Commissioner Schleiden does not have any type of sporting good business or sell crossbows. If he was the one that people thought had a conflict of interest then I can say, their concerns where unfounded.

I am not too concerned if one may or may not have had a conflict of interest. The fact remains that at least three others had to vote the same as him. What was the final vote?

As an organization goes is it me or are the leadership members doing every thing possible to destroy the commission as we know it? Is it being done so that a new board or controlling position can be formed?
Or what reasons do you see for the obviously unfavorable decisions that have isolated, offended& been made with all most every different group of former supporters.
As examples I Will say,
1. Deer management.
2. Cross bows
3. Giving the N.W.T.F. the governors elk tag.

The deer management will always be controversial.
The Xbows decision really pissed off the states bow hunters.
But what kind of moron gives the most valuable elk tag east of the Mississippi to the turkey federation?
Of course like every other decision the P.G.C. makes this one had $$$$$$ in the back ground as 80 % of the money generated by the tag goes back to the general fund, who'd a thought it.
They seem hell bent on pissing off and driving a wedge between each and every last supporter they had in the state.

my good friend is state rep here in clinton county.

he got a drawing permit for bull elk a few years ago.

HE WAS VERY LUCKY TO GET DRAWN:):):):):):)

guess what, he got one of biggest elk too

as paul harvery use to say.good day!
