No, the ball is in your court. I have demonstrated in my debates with RSB ,Doug E and others that I will engage anyone without resorting to insults and personal attacks. I may disagree and tell you that you are wrong and don't know what you are talking about, but that is not a personal attack ,that is anyway comparable to your name calling and constant accusations of lying.
Are you kidding me? Please refer to Pa Flintlock / Late Season 12/23/08 WhereI voiced a concern aboutusing climbing sticks and how to use a safety harness while doing so. Sproul and BTBvoiced concern for my safety but you had to come back with" Be a real hunter and huntat ground level and you won't have to worry about killing yourself for a deer." BtBow:
Over the years i have come to respect you as a pretty good hunter from reading your posts,,,i have come to the conclusion that you are into this thing just about as much as i am,,,and i also agree that we tend to disagree on some issues,,,so im asking you as 1 hunter to another,,,,why do you guys really disagree with the x-bow being a legitimate weapon during archery season,,,i dont understand the complaints,,,are you really worried about the ethics of the shot with some hunters,,,,is it the poaching thing,,,what exactly is it that ya'll despise about x-bows. They have been legal here in Va. for i think 5 yrs and i still know no one that uses them during season,,and i hunt alot of public land and i hav'nt seen 1 guy with a x-bow,,but then again,,,it's also legal to use semi-automatic rifles here and i see no one with a semi. I have shot x-bows quite extensively in the back yard with a few friends and no matter what guys like ole sproul say,,,their really not 3 shot 1 hole shooters @ 20 yds,,,so i dont think thats the issue. So enlighten me on the reasons why x-bows should not be legal in Pa. during the hunting season. Might i add honest answers
rem700: I would like express my reason why I voted no if I may? I think Archery season "may," my opinion, turn into a cousin of gun season. Again maybe. Since I only hunt public ground,my concerns are "if", a growing number jump onto this bandwagon, my solitude that I enjoy "might" come to an end? I know, everyone has a right to be in those woods. But I just seem to draw the most ignorant people when I used to rifle hunt. That's why I quit almost 30yrs ago. You know what I mean, hunters who leave their proper etiquette at home when it comes to bagging a deer. This is my only concern! Believe me, if that hunter wants to us a spear, crowbar, what ever his choice? And they are enjoying themselves,God Bless them!

blkpowder: I understand what your saying from a selfish point of view(not saying that is a bad thing,,,most days i wish i was the only hunter in the state)but like it or not,,,theres gonna be other hunters invading what we feel is our territory in hunting season,,,,and i can for some blinded reason,,,only view that as a good thing,,,to me theres safety in numbers and in the year 2009 i feel like we need that safety of numbers,,i took a friend to a public hunting area this past season and he was seriously pi$$ed off that there was 30 cars parked in the parking lot,,,i sat him down on the tailgate and said "listen,,,these are all guys doin just what you and i are here to do,,,i scouted the area and i think we have a good chance at deer",,I Sh!T you not,,,i put him on stand,,,walked 150 yds away and he called me on the radio sayin he shot 2 does(compound bow) before i even got to my hang-on,,ruined hunt?,,,he!! no,,,i just earned the trust of a fellow hunter and he got venison to top it off! maybe strayed off point for a second,,,but what im thinkin is this,,,,i dont care what it takes to get a guy in the woods,,once he's there,,he's on my side,,,he likes my sport,,,and he's gonna vote my way when it comes to election time,,,it's not just hunting to me,,,it's gun collecting,,,it's reloading,,,it's the whole 18 yds .
Sorry Rem, that reply was worded wrong. I know( my solitude will come to an end )exactly say's what you responded. That I want the woods to my self. That is a nice wish and I don't expect or want it to happen! I hope you believe me when I say that. You would not believe the type of encounters I had when I used to rifle hunt. I was an ahole magnet every time I stepped into those woods. Honest to god,I could write a least 15 pages of rotten encounters I had during gun season. I had guys park their arse,30-40 yds in front of me on opening day. What finally did me in,the last two years I hunted in gun season, I used a flintlock I built. Back to back years,I shot a buck, the deer where actually crawling. The one I was only 7 to 8 feet behind the deer waiting for it to expire, when a guy came flying down the hill and emptied his pump rifle into the deer. And screaming, he's still moving, he's mine -he's mine. Again, if and we all don't know yet. If allowing crossbows,is archery season going to become a glorified gun season. And if I'm going to relive past rifle seasons? Like I also stated,if the guy want's to use a hammer, spear what ever make him happy and he is hunting and enjoying himself,God bless him! I want to see other hunters having fun!

Wrong again. I deal with big mouths and blow hards as part of my job. I get called when things have gone south and staff feel threatened. In most instances when confronted face to face they usually change there demeanor and their story and of coarse "there's no problem here and I didn't say that".

P.S. He's in his 70's and insults a man he's never met before and questions his manhood? Someone who has neverconversed with him and had never said anything negative towards him!!! Real class act.You keep defending though.

Well Cornocchio, here are your words
Want a little salt and pepper with em?

Part 1 from the thread linked here: http://www.huntingnet.com/forum/tm.aspx?m=3227017&mpage=11

Im sorry, but you being the only other one, I didnt see the need.;) Im not exactly "corny" in my defense of appropriate public forum behaviour. My language when necessary is far from prim and proper.Theres a time and place. Such as face to face when some jag calls me corny, not on a pg-13 hunting message board.;) Course I wouldnt count on that happenin' I be a big ugly joker!....and you seem to be a petty little childish yellaloudmouth making such comments hiding behind your computer.:D

Part3 from

Ha ha ha. Petro, I see you have that nimrod figured out. Im sure plenty of people would like to chat with lil Dougie. Hes not very easy to get along with. I had words with the joker myself on another site awhile back. Funny thing is he shut his trap when someone told him who I was on HPA. He saw my pic on my post and shut his pie hole. Im heavy into weightlifting and an amatuer bodybuilder...
All that crap sounds every bit if not more threatening than what CCPA posted. Veiled threats are still threats and you have proved yourself not to be above making them. You have on right to criticize someone for virtually the same thing.

Like I said, out of context. YOU said this:

"You picked the wrong "ass" to defend there Corny.
defending him on this subject makes fit you into # 2 above as well "

LOL Ya called me an "ass" and I told you it was inappropriate and not the place to do so on a pg-13 board.... Never threatened you.

"Maybe even a little skeered"

"No need. I have yet to either deliver or recieve a swollen nose through my mouse"

And thats a threat???LOLOLOL Try again. I actually said there was no need to be afraid what more do you want??

How about instead of posted 23 quotes from posts of mine that are totally unrelated to what is being accused, and point out ONE and highlight where the threat occurred? (LOL) Ive made the exact same number of threats you have. Veiled or unveiled.

With all your honesty and integrity, you'd be a fine choice for a higher up position at PGC.

LIAR.

BTBowhunter 02-26-2009 07:50 PM

RE: Honest Answers.

Wrong again Corny!

the conext leading up to the threat doesn't makeany difference.

the simple fact is that your post was as much or more "threatening" as CCPA's

So I guess we all know who the realliar is but take heart, maybe the egg facial will help with that "big ugly" problem you have.

Cornelius08 02-26-2009 07:54 PM

RE: Honest Answers.

"the conext leading up to the threat doesn't makeany difference."

Sure it does, when it shows the subject being spoken of isswearing and not smacking a joker in the chops. (LOL) I guess you'll take that quote and add it to the list? (LOL) Whatta tool.

Btw, I think you have something stuck in your chinmop.

Nevermind.I went through all 7 pages and found it.I'd actually like to meet BB face to face myself one of these days myself.Sure wouldn't want to do him any bodily harm though.

A few years ago, several guys from another message board met at my house when we were doing a browse impact survey.Several came as far away as Pittsburg,Erie and even Montgomery county. One guy in particular always bugged me me with his pompous attitude. As it turned out,he was actually a pretty nice guy and we had alot more in common than we disagreed with.Once I got to know him,it was easy to see that I was simply taking him wrong.I suspect that's the case with most on here as well.

If I was still living in Factoryville I would make darn sure we arranged a meeting when you came in to visit your brother. But, being 5 miles from the PA/NJ line makes it quite a chore to meet you guys from central or western PA. But one thing I am sure of is that,we could become good friends if we lived close to each other. You are definitely a good ethical hunter and i'd be honored to hunt with you anytime and if I had quality hunting in my area I would be more than willing to invite you to share it with me.

Doug and i have been friendly enemies for years. He sincerely believes what hat he posts just as i do. But Doug never engages in name calling, insults or cheap shots. The problem I have with Doug is that he basis the quality of hunting in 2G based on his individual success rather than on the success of the majority of the hunters that control the herd in 2G.
