Default "The Good Old Days"

Here is a successful hunt from the 20's-30's.
They dressed in shirt and tie and brought along a band as well.
Are we expecting too much for too little these days?
I do not know if this was in Pa. It is a long ago photo from my wife's family.

Look at the size of that deer as well.

Neat pic Greg!

Gosh thats a tiny deer!

Gotta wonder if someone shot it or if the accordian drove it to commit suicide

I'm surprised you missed the obvious browse line. No wonder the deer was small.

BTW, I think your bias is showing, I'll explain why later. Maybe you and Liv need new glasses.

I have no history on the picture, and truthfully, it is possible they were not even hunting. Maybe they ran the deer over with the stagecoach!
I just wanted to share a neat picture. It is an original photograph in pristine condition. Who here even wears a tie to work, let alone to the woods?
That deer probably starved from living in a mature forest.

You are on to something... I see 3 instruments and no weapons. Cool pic but exactly what was going on here?

Keep speculating....this could get fun!
It almost looks like a muley in the face but dang it is so little to be a mule deer.

Those are some awful big listeners on that deer.

looks like a goat? I wouldn't have shot it. Before i put my glasses on I thought it was a rabbit laying on front!

It took me a while Greg but I figured it out!

You managed to get a hold on a picture of Bluebird and his crew with the last deer they harvested!

I had to look really close but those 1/2" nubbins on his head really gave it away. The other clue was the missing front feet!.

Thats the last venison for that crew but thanks to their leader, they've feasted well on crow ever since
