RE: pa crossbow

Real archers shy from hunting during rain. It makes bloodtrailing difficult and results in loss of animals. A good reason for BTB's idea of archer ed.

every deer i have shot with a bow
Real archers shy from hunting in rain not if you cant see blood can
hit in the kill zone every time and have cofidence you can and will find it
If i am not a Real archer to you to bad it doesnt matter to me what

The idea of bowhunter ed is torequire it for new bowhunters, not to drag experienced hunters into a class they don't need.

I've already said that I'm pretty neutral on crossbows but am worried that it is likely to be attractive to people who have not gotten into archery till now because it's NOT easy. If the crossbow winds up attracting people expecting an easy way to archery hunt, those people could probably benefit from mandatory bowhunter ed.

Again,I support bowhunter ed for newbies only, not for existing archery hunters;)

you are not color blind livbucks black specs in fall color change[&:]
secondly i am getting old enough i dont like to play in the rain
but if it has been raining for 2 days and i see its going to have front move throu and quit raining
at 2 you bet i will be out there and ready by 1230 if that also makes someone not a Real archer so be it
sometimes i can only get out on a rainy day and i want to go i do guess i am not a Real archer
or in your case maybe a TRophy hunter

if the present compound hunters change to crossbows, i think they will, we will still have ethical hunters out there with crossbow, thats great.;)

but, YOU ARE RIGHT, its these new hunters that did not hunt archery because you have to practice with compound, you have to with crossbow too BUT THEY DONT THINK YOU DO [:@]

they think they are gun, scope, pull up and shoot to 50 yds.

trust me, they are making those shots too at deer but not hitting them or wounding them, cant prove that but feel its happening.

if those type of hunters stay out of woods, let crossbows in .
