Got a touch of Mississippi today.

Well Meadville got about six inches of the white stuff over night, should make for some nice grouse hunting tomorrow?:)

If your tags are full and you have some free time get out there and trim some apple trees or just knock down some soft maple, the game will love you for it.

IMHO you never were, at least you haven't shown it on the MB.

BTW ,whitetail buck in Miss. develop antlers in the same way that the bucks do in PA. Their size is determined by genetics, age and nutrition just like in PA and most of them are shot by hunters just like in PA. And ARS in PA will result in average smaller rack sizes of 2.5+ buck just like in Miss.

Are you happy now?

You really need a course in reading comprehension. Your previous post was about finding a deer, not harvesting a deer.

I'm terribly sorry! You said you found a deer and that it was dead. I am a bit sleep deprived but my judgement must really be impaired for me to assume that you could have harvested a deer.

That's funny since you had no trouble busting me and my group about harvesting 5 BB!! You also didn't have trouble busting me about harvesting a crippled buck.

Since you still failed to figure it out, take it to your local grade school and have them correct it.

Sorry to disappoint you ,but the mods already know that. You might also like to know that the owners of the site have changed and that is why you are allowed to call me all sorts of obnoxious names without getting banned.

BTBowhunter 01-09-2009 05:39 PM

RE: Got a touch of Mississippi today.

I'm aware that the mods already knew that.
It is curious though that you have felt the need to deny it till now.

bluebird2 01-09-2009 05:45 PM

RE: Got a touch of Mississippi today.

I didn't deny anything. i simply ignored the malicious assults of an inadequate individual that can't suppport his position with facts.

BTBowhunter 01-09-2009 05:49 PM

RE: Got a touch of Mississippi today.

I'd say that your insecurity and sensitivity to the fact that you cant seem to find more than 3 live deer in 10 days tells usthat, deep down, youknow who you feel is inadequate.

bluebird2 01-09-2009 05:57 PM

RE: Got a touch of Mississippi today.

If you base your value of a human based on his ability to kill a deer, then you value a human no higher than a bear or a yote and that's pathetic.

It is you that constantly evaluates fellow hunters based on what they kill. If you can't stand the heat hit the ignore button one more time!!!

RE: Got a touch of Mississippi today.

To get back on topic....

3 to 6 inches here tomorrow. East wind expected.

Jim, I think my buddy and I are gonna put a litle twist on your reccomendation. I think we'll knock down a doe or two and maybe trim a buck from the herd. (my buddy still has his buck tag and we'll be in 2B where there's plenty of em of course)

The apple trees and soft maples will love us for it;)

High of 8 predicted here in Southwestern Mississippi Thursday.

bluebird2 01-12-2009 04:06 PM

RE: Got a touch of Mississippi today.

Maybe that is why the rack sizes of 2.5+ buck decreased across the entire state during 12 years of ARs. you clowns haven't provided any other explanation.

No, Dr. Kroll did not point out the flaws in the Miss. study. I have both the article and Dr. Kroll's study and they support the results from Miss. kroll's work also supports the theory that the 2.5 buck saved by ARs will be smaller than the 2.5+ buck before ARs.
